We knew when creating Modern Market’s macaroni and cheese, we were up against every beloved childhood version out there. Our priorities? Create a luscious, creamy sauce with a deep, cheesy flavor that both adults and kids would love. To do so, we use five (yes, five!) different kinds of cheese. We start with freshly grated white cheddar and muenster for richness and then our three-cheese pizza blend of mozzarella, asiago, and parmesan to take it over the top. The ridged cavatappi noodles hold the sauce beautifully and have just enough bite to keep things interesting. Whether it’s as good as Mom’s or Dad’s or Grandma’s, who knows? But we do know it will inspire you to say, Gosh, that’s delicious.
